Abstract: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a debilitating autoimmune condition that leads to chronic joint inflammation and systemic complications. Although pharmacological agents such as Dexamethasone and Tofacitinib provide symptomatic relief, they are limited by adverse effects and accessibility issues. This study evaluates the therapeutic potential of two traditional Ayurvedic herbo-metallic formulations Rasamanikya and Rasasindura in a Collagen Induced Arthritis (CIA) rat model. Twenty-six male Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into six groups and assessed over 28 days for clinical, hematological, biochemical and histopathological changes. Both Ayurvedic treatments demonstrated moderate anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory activity, with Rasasindura showing better efficacy than Rasamanikya in reducing arthritic symptoms, normalizing hematological indices, and improving organ function markers. These results highlight the promise of traditional medicine in managing RA, warranting further clinical validation.
