Abstract: The present study was carried out to assess certain behavioural attributes of Hassan lambs under intensive rearing pattern. Eighteen Hassan lambs between 3-6 months old were selected and divided into three groups of six each and reared separately on mud floor (G-I), concrete floor (G-II) and concrete floor with rubber mat (G-III). The animals were reared for 90 days with standard housing and feeding conditions as per the requirement. The activities of the lambs were video recorded continuously using closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras and fortnightly recordings were analysed to construct an ethogram. It was observed that, the lambs in concrete floor shown highest standing time (min) along with lying time (min). Percentage of resting or lying behaviour was significantly (P<0.05) lower in G-II compared to G-III. Eating time (min) and percentage of time, drinking time (min) and percentage of time and licking time (min) were non-significant among the groups.
