Abstract: The present study aimed to determine the seroprevalence of leptospirosis among pigs in selected districts of Kerala using the Microscopic Agglutination Test (MAT). A total of 150 serum samples collected from pigs across 14 districts were screened for antibodies against 12 Leptospira reference serovars. The overall seroprevalence was 34.67 per cent. The most prevalent serovars detected were Grippotyphosa (28.85 per cent), Canicola (25.00 per cent), and Pomona (17.31 per cent), followed by Autumnalis and Icterohaemorrhagiae. This study highlights the importance of continued surveillance and biosecurity practices to control leptospirosis in pigs and mitigate potential zoonotic transmission.
