Abstract: In the present study, out of 218 bovine tumors, 101 tumors were of skin and soft tissues and the remaining 117 cases were ocular tumors. The overall incidence of bovine tumors was 7.60 per cent (N=218) among which bovine skin and soft tissue tumors constitute 3.52 per cent (N=101) and ocular tumors alone shared 4.08 per cent (N=117). The highest incidence was recorded in 3 to 6 years old cattle (61.47 per cent, N=134) the incidence was highest in Holstein Friesian crossbred (58.71 per cent, N=128) followed by Jersey crossbred (32.11 per cent) cattle. The incidence rate was higher in females (N=212) compared to males (N=6). The incidence of benign (N=81) and malignant (N=137) tumors was 37.15 per cent and 62.85 per cent respectively. The highest number of tumors recorded were squamous cell carcinoma (N=127) followed by papilloma (N=71), malignant melanoma (N=4), fibroma (N=3), fibrosarcoma (N=2), haemangioma (N=1), haemangiopericytoma (N=1), meibomian gland adenoma (N=1), mast cell tumor (N=1), anaplastic carcinoma (N=1), myxofibrosarcoma (N=1), fibropapilloma (N=3) and melanocarcinoma (N=1).
