Abstract: Endometritis is arnsignificant reproductive disorder in mare, marked by an inflammatory responsernin the endometrium following breeding. It primarily affects mares with compromised immune function, rnreproductive anatomy, myometrial contractions, mucus production and lymphaticrndrainage. These impairments lead to ineffective clearance of sperm andrnpathogens following breeding. This case report details a seven years oldrnMarwari mare presented with a history of failed conception despite repeatedrnbreeding and had been exhibiting a whitish discharge for the past 10 days.rnBased on history, clinical signs and ultrasonographic examination the case wasrndiagnosed as endometritis. Intrauterine therapy, antibiotics, syntheticrnprostaglandin were administered to the mare for 3 days and the mare recoveredrnuneventfully. The case highlights the effectiveness of timely antibioticrntherapy and intrauterine treatment in managing infectious endometritis.
