Effect of ginger powder supplementation on mortality of kuroiler chick

Abstract: With the objective for investigating the impact of ginger powder supplementation on the body weight of kuroiler chicks, a laboratory experiment was carried out at Poultry Farm, S.K.N. College of Agriculture, Jobner, Jaipur, (Rajasthan), India, during the winter season, from November 19 to February 6, 2023. Ten treatment groups, each consisting of thirty chicks, were used in the experiment, which was set up using a Complete Randomized Design (CRD). Each group was then subdivided into three repetitions, each consisting of ten chicks. Treatments included The T0 Treatment was fed with basal diet, T1, T2 and T3 were received the basal diet plus, @ 0.5% 7.5% and 1% ginger powder, respectively. The overall death rate of the entire experimental period was 7.5% with the highest rate (16.66%) in the control group. T1 and T3 treatment mortality rate was found 3.33%. Among the four treatment groups, T2 had the highest mortality rate (6.66). As a result the supplementation of ginger powder supplementation no infection was detected after death.
