Abstract: A retrospective analysis of seventy cases of Retained Fetal Membranes (RFM) in cattle was conducted over a one-year period. The study revealed that the primary causes of RFM were dystocia (60%), infectious diseases (10%), and nutritional deficiencies (30%). A strong association was found between RFM and factors such as dystocia, abortion, premature birth, and twinning. In terms of treatment, partial manual removal of the retained membranes, followed by the oral administration of ecbolics and uterotonic liquids, proved more effective than complete manual removal.
