Abstract: The present case study describes a successful surgical management of congenital Omphalocele in a two days old jersey cross breed calf. The animal was presented with the history of a large mass protruding from the abdominal region from the time of birth. The mass was covered with soft membranous sac which was soiled and slightly congested. As an attempt to return the herniated portion to the abdominal cavity without surgery was unsuccessful, surgical intervention was decided to save the life of the animal and to prevent further complication. Surgical management with herniorrhaphy was done with uneventful recovery without any further complication during one month of observation period.
