Abstract: Dystocia, a life-threatening reproductive emergency in dogs, requires prompt intervention to ensure the survival of both the dam and offspring. This case report describes the successful surgical management of dystocia in a five-year-old Labrador bitch presenting with anorexia, lethargy, and prolonged labor. Clinical examination revealed a dead fetus, necessitating an emergency cesarean section. This case underscores the importance of timely diagnosis, appropriate anesthetic protocol, and meticulous surgical management in resolving dystocia.
