Anomaly is the malformation involving only an organ or part of the body, whereas monster is one which extended to the animal. The factors or agents causing monster are called as teratogens. Malformations may be genetic or inherited and nongenetic. Dystocia due to fetal monstrosities is a challenging task in the field level. Improper handling of dystocia will lead to loss of animal and in turn economic crisis to the poor farming community. Thus, this review focuses on the most common types of fetal monstrosities their incidence, obstetrical management, treatment and follow up which impacts on the production and future reproduction of farm animals.
