Abstract: The current experiment was carried out to investigate cost of feed per kilogram body weight gain of growing Murrah buffalo calves' and the use of non-leguminous and leguminous straw-based total mixed ration supplemented with fibrolytic enzymes. The economic analysis revealed that the calves reared under T2, (TMR prepared with wheat straw and enzymes) T3, (TMR- gram straw without enzymes) and T4, (TMR-gram straw and enzymes) proved to be more cost-effective in terms of body weight gain as compared to T1 (TMR- wheat straw without enzymes).
