Abstract: The present study was carried out to isolate various bacteria causing urinary tract infection in cats affected with FLUTD and to perform their antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Total 22 urine samples were collected from affected cats presented at Veterinary Clinical Complex, Navsari, Gujarat for cultural isolation & in vitro antimicrobial susceptibility test. Out of them 9 sample show the growth of microorganism. Among them, 5 cultures showed the growth of Gram-positive cocci, 3 cultures showed the Gram-negative bacilli and 1 culture showed mix infection of Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli bacteria. In antimicrobial susceptibility test, Enrofloxacin (55.55%), Gentamicin (44.44%) and Amikacin (55.55%) were the most sensitive antimicrobials and Amoxyclav (33.33%), Clindamycin (11.11%), Cephalexin (22.22%) and Doxycycline (33.33%) were found least sensitive antimicrobials.
