Abstract: The data on the production performance of Red Sindhi maintained at Division of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Science, College of Agriculture, Dhule, (M.S.) were utilized for present study. The least squares means of total milk yield (kg), 300 days milk yield (kg), lactation length (days), dry period (days) and peak milk yield (kg) were estimated by considering the association of Temperature Humidity Index. Then data were corrected for significant effect of non-genetic factors and the association of THI was estimated. The corrected data were used to find out the effect of THI on production traits. The overall mean observed for TMLY, 300 DMY, LL, DP and PMY are 1336.550±42.003 kg, 1605.417± 41.594 kg, 258.638 ± 5.490 days, 120.014 ± 6.735 days and 7.850±0.151 kg, respectively in Red Sindhi cattle. The effect of THI was non-significant in all production performance traits of Red Sindhi cattle which were TLMY, 300 DMY, LL, DP and PMY. This indicates that Red Sindhi cows were acclimatized to the local climate of farm if optimum feeding with sound management is provided to the cattle.
