Abstract: Parasitic management is vital in veterinary medicine, affecting livestock health, productivity, and economic sustainability. Effective control integrates multiple strategies, including chemotherapy, bioactive crops, biological control, pasture management, phytotherapy, and immunoprophylaxis. Chemotherapy remains a primary method using targeted drugs, while bioactive crops and nutrition help combat parasites sustainably. Pasture management reduces parasite burdens through rotational grazing. Biological control relies on natural predators, and phytotherapy utilizes medicinal plants with antiparasitic properties. Immunoprophylaxis, through vaccines, offers a long-term solution, though challenges in formulation persist.
