Abstract: An experiment was conducted to evaluate the effect of supplementation of paneer whey on growth performance, feed and water intake, whey intake and FCR in Srinidhi birds were selected for experiment and 200 day old Srinidhi chicks with uniform weight divided into four treatment groups T2, T3, T4, T5 and control T1 (basal diet + plain drinking water (Control), T2 (basal diet + ½ day drinking water + ½ day paneer whey), T3 (basal diet + ½ day drinking water + ½ day water: paneer whey (1:1) proportion), T4 (basal diet + alternate day only paneer whey) and T5 (basal diet + alternate day water: paneer whey (1:1) proportion). From the study it was observed that weekly cumulative live body weight at XII week of age in treatment T2 (2442.05) had significantly higher body weight than T4 (2362.00 gm), T3 (2271.13 gm), T5 (2236.05 gm) and T1 (2190.00 gm) and values differ significantly from each other. Treatment T2 (350.00 gm) showed the highest weekly weight gain, followed by T4 (329.78 gm), T3 (310.00 gm), T5 (301.05 gm) and T1(291.00 gm) and weight differ significantly from each other. Cumulative feed intake at XII week of age in control T1 (4900.83 gm) was significantly higher than treatment T2, T3, T4, T5. (Control) T1 (1 1735.31 ml/bird) had the highest total water intake than T5, T3, T4 and T2. Treatment T2 (1.85) demonstrated the most efficient feed conversion ratio followed by T4 (1.95), T3 (2.08), T5 (2.13), and (Control) T1 was (2.23).
