Abstract: Data on the production and reproductive performance of 50 Jersey crossbred cows, raised at the Livestock Farm Complex of the Veterinary College and Research Institute in Namakkal, Tamil Nadu, over a period of 10 years (2014-2024), were collected from existing farm records. This data was analyzed to evaluate the production and reproductive metrics of Jersey crossbred cattle. The means±S.E for 305 days milk yield and lactation milk yield were 2463.26±56.27 and 2585.21±72.13 respectively. The means ± S.E for lactation length, service period, calving interval, dry period, Gestation period and age at first calving were 324.11±20.14, 150.87±22.45, 462.65±12.07, 137.06±15.45, 283.75±7.34 and 910.09±20.15 days respectively. The number of services required per conception were 2.87±0.37. The findings from this study indicate that Jersey crossbred cattle perform well in the northwestern zone of Tamil Nadu, even under semi-arid climatic conditions.
