Abstract: Rice Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles (RDDGS) is a by-product of ethanol production which is used as alternative protein source in the poultry diet. The Present investigation was conducted for 6 weeks to study the effect of feeding different dietary levels of rice DDGS on livability and economics of commercial broiler chicken. A total of 144 day-old chicks were randomly assigned to six dietary treatments. Each treatment group consisted of four replicates with 6 chicks/replicate such that to have 24 chicks per treatment. Six diets (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5 and T6) were formulated and provided ad libitum to the birds of respective treatments as pre-starter, starter and finisher diets during 0-7 days, 8-21 days and 22-42 days of age, respectively. T1 (Basal diet without RDDGS), T2 (Basal diet with 5% level of RDDGS), T3 (Basal diet with 10% level of RDDGS), T4 (Basal diet with 15% level of RDDGS), T5 (Basal diet with 20% level of RDDGS) and T6 (Basal diet with 25% level of RDDGS). The highest livability was observed in T1, T2, T4, T5, T6 followed by T3 group. The highest ROFC was obtained in the birds fed with T2 diet followed by T1, T3, T5, T4 and T6 diet, respectively. It should be concluded that the inclusion of RDDGS in broiler diet at 5% level was economically more beneficial due to reduce feed cost.
