Abstract: Cardiovascular diseases being fourth common cause for mortality in canines and gaining importance in the recent times. The present research was aimed to characterize the significant changes in radiographic, electrocardiographic and echocardiographic parameters in Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) dogs. The six dogs were taken for the study, age group of 2-7 years and males being more affected. Upon cardio-pulmonary auscultation, presence of murmurs, wheezes and crackles were heard. The electrocardiographic abnormalities were Low QRS complex, atrial fibrillation, Q dip and arrythmias were recorded while the observational study of echocardiography revealed the presence of mild atrial enlargement, elevated EPSS and size of left atrium with increased left ventricular free wall thickness in systole and diastole. The animals were stabilized and clinical improvement was noticed on treating with the standard recommended treatment.
