Effect of flaxseed supplementation on estrus synchronization and conception rate in Salem black goats

Abstract:
Flaxseed supplementation along with progesterone-based estrus synchronization was studied in 32 Salem Black goats. The estrus response, pattern of estrus and conception rate was observed and compared to control. Flaxseed supplementation (50mg) followed by estrus synchronization and GnRH (10µg) administration was found to be improving conception rate in Salem Black goats.
