Abstract: An 11-year-old male Labrador was brought to the Madras Veterinary College Teaching Hospital, Chennai with a history of presence of nodule on the forelimb for the past 4 months. On clinical examination, a well-circumscribed mass was found on the metacarpal region with a size measuring 3.0 x 3.0 x 4.0 cm, appearing brownish in colour and firm in consistency. Haemato-biochemical studies revealed no abnormalities while histopathological examination revealed multilobulated neoplastic cells consisting of variable sized sebocytes with cytoplasm containing numerous vacuoles which was confirmative of sebaceous adenoma. Immunohistochemical studies also confirmed the mass as sebaceous adenoma by showing positive expression of cytokeratin. Based on the above laboratory findings, the tumour was identified as sebaceous adenoma.
