Abstract:
The arrival of the rainy season not only provides excitement to Indian farmers but also escalates the incidence of numerous ailments. Livestock endured stress due to the abrupt transition in weather conditions, shifting from hot, arid days to cooler, rainy climates, which can affect their productivity and efficiency. Prevention strategies must be implemented in order to prevent the transmission of diseases in livestock, particularly dairy animals, as timely interventions can protect farmers from losses incurred due to excessive precipitation. These procedures encompass adequate housing facilities, waterproof shelters, tick management, appropriate balanced food, veterinarian care, and appropriate carcass disposal.
