Abstract: An experiment was conducted at Animal Husbandry and Dairy Science Section, College of Agriculture, Nagpur during 2023-2024. Daily DM intake differed significantly between the treatments. The daily dry matter intake kg/day under the treatment T1, T2, and T3 were 13.080, 13.070 and 13.060 kg, respectively. The daily dry matter intake per 100 kg body weight in T1, T2 and T3 2.998, 2.997 and 2.995 kg, respectively. This trend thus indicated that there was reduce in the daily DM (Dry matter) intake when hydroponic green maize was incorporated as feed in the rations of crossbred lactating cows. The average of Fat, SNF (Solids not fat) and TS (Total solids) was higher in treatment T3 and T2 as compared to no hydroponic maize fed T1 treatment. It indicated significant effect of hydroponic maize feeding on quality of milk of crossbred lactating cows.
