Abstract: An experiment was conducted to assess the impact of Flaxseed powder on the growth performance of broilers. A total of 150 Cobb chicks were divided into five treatment groups, each containing three replicates of 10 chicks. The control group (T1) followed BIS (2007) guidelines, while groups T2, T3, T4, and T5 received 5%, 7%, 10%, and 12% Flaxseed powder, respectively. Results showed that broilers fed 5% and 7% Flaxseed had significantly better body weight, feed intake, and feed efficiency compared to those on 12% Flaxseed. There were no significant differences in feed intake and survivability among all groups. It was concluded that adding 5% to 7% Flaxseed powder to the diet improves growth performance in broilers without negatively affecting body weight, making this inclusion level optimal.
