Abstract: The present study was conducted from 2.5 year old female dog having cauliflower like growth on the extragential region and 10 year old female dog having nodular growth on the inguinal part of the mammary gland were presented at the Veterinary Clinical Complex, IVS & AH, SOA, Bhubaneswar. Cytology was collected from both the area and thin smear was prepared. The slide was fixed with methanol for 5 minutes and then stain by giemsa for 30 minutes and observed under a microscope. Based on the cytology the samples were diagnosed as TVT and mammary adenocarcinoma.
