Abstract: This study presents an analysis of 30 cases of urinary obstruction in buffalo calves presented during the peak winter (December 2022 to February 2023). The study aims to investigate the clinical characteristics, etiological factors, diagnostic procedures, treatment modalities and their out come. Clinical records of the buffalo calves suffering from urinary obstruction were analysed, considering factors such as age, breed, diet, and clinical signs. Diagnostic procedures, including ultrasonography and urine analysis, were used to assess the severity of the condition and identify the integrity of urinary bladder. Treatment approaches, including medical dissolution, surgical intervention, and supportive therapy, were documented and evaluated. The results indicated a higher occurrence during the peak winter. Common clinical signs observed included colic, abdominal distention, constant bellowing and abnormal balancing of body in intact bladder while frog belly appearance in urethral rupture. Urine analysis revealed the presence of crystals and bacteria. The treatment included tube cystostomy with oral administration of ammonium chloride for two weeks. Supportive care included pain management and antimicrobial therapy, to aid in recovery. This study provides valuable insights into the prevalence, clinical presentation, diagnostic approaches, and management of obstructive urolithiasis in buffalo calves.
