Abstract: A six-year-old, female, Doberman dog was presented at the Veterinary Clinical Complex, Nagpur with a history of pruritus, inappetence, lethargy, fever, erythema, and recurrent generalized cutaneous lesion. On clinical examination pustules, papules, oozing ulcerated lesions, enlarged lymph nodes (submandibular and pre-scapular) and hyperpigmentation were observed. Hematobiochemical results showed hypoproteinaemia and neutrophilia. The case was initially treated with amoxicillin clavulanate but even after 7 days, the result was not as per the expectation. After a resting period of 7 days free of antibiotics, an ABST was conducted of the sample obtained from the skin lesion on the basis of the ABST result the case was treated with a doxycycline tablet for 28 days. A complete resolution was achieved after a 28-day treatment course.
