A five-year-old non-descriptive bitch was presented to the clinics with a localized swelling in the caudal right ventral abdomen. Based on physical and radio graphical examination the case was diagnosed as inguinal hysterocoele. To safeguard the life of the dam, it was decided to perform an emergency laparohysterotomy. Subsequently, the animal became pregnant without untoward incidence.
